The Worlds Best Preview Uses Motion Backgrounds

After the Superbowl LIII broadcast on CBS this year, there is a new show called The Worlds Best. Similar to America’s Got Talent, Britain Gots Talent, or a host of other shows that highlight how awesome people are, The Worlds Best is the culmination of those shows scraping off the cream of the crop and producing  a two hour show that highlights the best in the world.

Hosted by James Corden, THE WORLD’S BEST is a first-of-its-kind global talent competition that features acts from every genre imaginable, from every corner of the planet. They not only have to impress the all-star line-up of American judges Drew Barrymore, RuPaul Charles and Faith Hill, but the acts will also need to break through the “wall of the world,” featuring 50 of the world’s most accomplished experts from every field of entertainment. Only one act will ultimately be crowned THE WORLD’S BEST.

Half way through the promotional preview, the use of a some incredible motion backgrounds are used as the video wall backgrounds. Using a blue background with periodic splotches of grey-ish white smoke, this motion background has a particle systems that swirls through the center of the background, making it as though the particles are in a 3D atmosphere. I saw and thought that it would be interesting to try and recreate, so here is the motion background I came up with that is similar to one that will be on the show. Enjoy!
